The short version. This is my personal site. Most of it is free, published in good faith, and offered as is. A few things are paid: my car-buying help, and the Bazi and Human Design charts.
My car-buying help comes from owning 30+ cars and vans. It is not a vehicle inspection, and I can’t promise a price. The calculators, the trading simulator, and everything I have written about cars, markets and property are not professional advice. I am not a licensed financial adviser and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Your money and your decisions remain yours.
Use the site, enjoy the tools, take nothing here as a substitute for advice from someone qualified and paid to give it.
01Agreeing to this
By using kevinchia.sg you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, that is entirely fine — please just stop using the site.
The site is run by Kevin Chia, an individual in Singapore. Throughout this page, "I" and "me" mean him, and "you" means you.
02What this site is
A personal website. It holds my car-buying help, writing, a record of things I have built, free tools, and paid digital tools.
The writing and the tools are free unless a page says otherwise. The car-buying help and the paid digital tools, and their terms, are described below. Pages under /one/ are a private dashboard for my own use and are not part of what is offered to you.
03Not advice — the part that matters
Car-buying help
I help you buy a car: we go through your budget, your needs and your timing, I help you narrow down a shortlist, and I go shopping with you. The first trip is S$120, which covers that fact-finding, the shortlist and the trip itself. Later trips are S$80 or less each. We agree the fee, time, route and scope on WhatsApp before you book.
My help comes from my own experience of buying and owning cars. It is not a mechanical or professional vehicle inspection, and I am not a mechanic. For a used car, get a professional inspection before you commit.
I can’t promise a price or a saving. Whether a dealer or owner moves on price is up to them. Any purchase is between you and the seller, and any loan is between you and the lender. I am not a party to either agreement, and I am not responsible for the car’s condition, the seller’s promises or the lender’s decision. Read what you sign.
Filmed journeys. If you agree before our first trip to let me film the process, and you then buy a car within two months of that trip, from any dealer or owner, I refund your S$120 once you have approved the final video. Later trips are not refunded. Filming is optional and you get the same help without it. Car plates are blurred, your face too if you ask, and your IC, address, loan papers and phone number are never shown. Each video says your fee was refunded. Once you have approved it and it is posted, the video stays up. If you later withdraw your consent, I will blur or cut out your face, voice and anything else that identifies you, but I will not delete the video. Copies other people have already shared are out of my hands.
Besides your fee, I may be paid in two ways. Some dealers pay me a referral fee if you buy from them. Most don’t, and I often only find out afterwards; if one does, I’ll tell you. Your S$120 is not refunded because of a referral fee. If you take a loan I arrange, the lender pays me a commission, which I split with you half each, or in roughly equal thirds if a third person helped bring the deal together.
What I say about loans, insurance, COE, PARF or depreciation describes my own experience. It is not financial or insurance advice. The bank, finance company or insurer decides what you can get and on what terms.
The car budget calculator
The car budget calculator gives you a starting budget using simple, illustrative loan maths. It is not a loan approval and not a quote. Its PARF and rebate figures are estimates, and where it assumes a registration date it says so. Check real figures with LTA, the dealer and your lender before you rely on them.

I am not a licensed financial adviser, broker, or dealer, and I am not registered with the Monetary Authority of Singapore or any other regulator to give financial advice.
Anything I write about options, the wheel strategy, brokerage accounts, portfolio construction, retirement, or net worth is a description of what I personally did. It is not a recommendation, not a solicitation, and not advice for your situation. I do not know your finances, your obligations, or your tolerance for loss.
Options trading can lose you more than you put in. Past results — mine or anyone's — predict nothing. Speak to a licensed adviser before you act.
The trading simulator is a game
The wheel simulator uses invented price data, simplified option pricing, and fixed weekly outcomes. It exists to teach the shape of a strategy. It is not a backtest, not a forecast, and not a model of any real security. Any resemblance to how a real position would have performed is coincidence.
The Bazi and Human Design calculators
These are offered for interest and self-reflection. Bazi and Human Design are traditional and esoteric systems, not science, and the results are not fact about you or anyone else.
Do not use them to make decisions about health, medicine, law, money, relationships, or hiring. If something in a reading worries you, speak to a professional in that field rather than acting on a chart.
The Bazi chart you pay for
Your full Bazi chart, ordered on the order page, is S$29.90 in Singapore dollars. You pay by PayNow into the account of Vivre Activewear Pte Ltd, my company. When the payment arrives, your chart opens on a private page at kevinchia.sg and the link is emailed to you. The page stays available for as long as this site runs it; it is drawn from my own chart engine each time you open it. The link is the only key to it, so keep it to yourself and people you trust.
The same limits apply as to the calculators above: it is for reflection, not a prediction and not advice. What you do with the copied chart in an AI tool of your own is between you and that tool. Please give accurate birth details; a chart built on a wrong birth time is re-run for free if you tell me the right one.
There are no refunds. The chart is delivered the moment you pay, and the sample chart shows exactly what you get before you do. If a birth detail was wrong, or something on your page is wrong because of my engine, email [email protected] and I will re-run or fix it for free.
Questions on Ask your chart
Ask your chart answers questions about your Bazi chart in a few sentences. The reading is worked out from your chart by my method, and put into words by AI (Claude, by Anthropic). Your first three questions are free, once. After that, questions are S$1 for 3, bought by PayNow in any whole amount from S$1 to S$100; on your first top-up, any free questions you still have double. A follow-up uses one question. A question that gets no answer (an error, or one it can't answer) is not used. Unused questions don't expire. Top-ups are not refunded. The answers are for reflection, not advice, like everything above.
The Human Design Data Kit you pay for
The Human Design Data Kit, ordered on its order page, is S$9.90 in Singapore dollars. You pay by PayNow into the account of Vivre Activewear Pte Ltd, my company. Property content
I am not a licensed property agent and I do not hold a CEA licence. What I have written about my own purchases, BTOs, and financing describes my transactions and my reasoning at the time. Rules, grants, loan limits, and cooling measures change, and mine may be out of date by the time you read them. Verify anything that matters with HDB, your bank, or a licensed agent.
04Offered as is
The site and its tools are provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. I do not promise the site will be available, that calculations will be correct, that content is current, or that anything is free of errors.
Calculations depend on third-party astronomical and calendar libraries and on data you type in. A wrong birth time gives a wrong chart, and the tool has no way of knowing.
05Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or anything you did because of it. That includes car purchases, trading losses, investment losses, property decisions, lost profits, lost data, and business interruption.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
06How you may use it
Read it, use the tools, share links, quote me with attribution. Please do not:
- Break into, probe, or interfere with the site or its infrastructure
- Scrape it at a volume that degrades it for anyone else
- Submit anything unlawful, defamatory, or deliberately misleading
- Try to reach the private dashboard, or anyone's data but your own
- Republish substantial parts of the writing as your own work
I may block access if any of that happens. There is no appeals process; it is a personal website.
07Reviews and videos
Written reviews are submitted and moderated on smeaio.com, the business I co-founded, under its own terms. This site only shows the ones I choose to show.
A video about buying a car with me is made only if you are happy to make one, including the filmed journeys above. If you take part, what you say on camera is your honest opinion, and you give me permission to post it on this site, Instagram and TikTok, and to trim it for length without changing its meaning. Once posted, it stays up. If you later withdraw your consent, I blur or cut out what identifies you.
08What belongs to whom
The writing, design, code, and images on this site are mine unless stated otherwise. You may quote and link with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions or present the work as yours.
The memory lane archive preserves the original kevinchia.sg from around 2007 to 2010. It is kept as a historical record and is deliberately unmaintained — nothing in it should be treated as current.
Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners. Mentioning a company or a ticker implies no relationship with it.
09Links out
Links to other sites are for convenience. I do not control them and I am not responsible for what they contain or do.
10Privacy
What the site collects, and how to have it removed, is set out in the privacy policy. It forms part of these terms.
11Changes
I may change these terms or any part of the site at any time, including removing tools. Material changes move the date at the top. Continuing to use the site means you accept the version then published.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the Singapore courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
