The wheel is a systematic options selling strategy. Start by selling cash-secured puts on a stock you are happy to own at the strike price. If the put expires worthless, keep the premium and sell another. If you get assigned, own the stock and sell covered calls against it until called away. Then start again.
Income comes from the premiums collected each cycle. Done consistently on quality stocks with enough liquidity, it generates meaningful monthly income without needing the stock to go up.
