The beginning

A reading at age ten.

My first Bazi reading was when I was around ten years old. Most of it went over my head, but two things stuck. First, that I was built for business. That turned out to be true. Second, that a certain element clashed with my chart and I should avoid it, and that a different element was what I needed to embrace.

I took that second piece of advice seriously for most of my life. The colours I wore, the choices I made, the way I thought about timing and luck: all of it shaped by that one early reading.

The years that followed

The ventures that never quite stuck.

I became an entrepreneur. Started things, moved fast, built momentum. But the ventures never compounded the way I expected. They would start well and lose steam. I kept blaming execution, market timing, partners.

Then I met someone. We started a business together as a couple, just two people who believed in what they were building. Neither of us checked Bazi compatibility. We didn’t think about elements.

We got married because of the Chinese zodiac, not Bazi. That year both our zodiac forecasts said marriage was auspicious. Out of twelve animals it landed on both of ours at the same time. We figured that was a sign worth listening to.

Shortly after, the business started moving differently. The first several years had been foundation work, slow and grinding. But when our luck cycle shifted and we married around the same time, revenue started flowing consistently, in a way none of my earlier solo ventures had ever managed.

The turning point

The realisation that changed everything.

It was only when I finally went deep into studying Bazi properly that I understood what had been happening all along.

My wife’s dominant element is the one I had been warned against my whole life. The one I was told would clash with me and cause harm. What I discovered, reading the charts correctly, is that my chart already has too much of what I had been told to embrace. That so-called favourable element was the very thing keeping me stuck. And the element I had avoided for over two decades was the missing piece that activates wealth in my specific chart.

My wife brought it into my life without either of us planning it that way. The zodiac said get married. We listened. The chart did the rest.

Wrong advice followed since childhood. The correction arrived through a zodiac forecast and a gut feeling.
